Re-watching the documentary right now and noticed something I didn't before. So we know that Steven's cousin Sandra said that he was "doing his thing" in front of her car. Later in episode 1 around the 51:00 mark, when Michael Griesbach is discussing how he talked with Denis Vogel regarding Steven getting out of jail, the criminal complaint documents are shown regarding Gregory Allen. From these documents we are shown: "got close to her he pulled his shorts half way down... " "exposed his penis and began masturbating. " So these descriptions match up with what Sandra had described to the police. Now, to continue along with my title... this to me seems very suspicious regarding the police being called away from surveilling Gregory Allen the day that Mrs. Beernsten was assaulted. It appears that there is a possibility that Gregory Allen was purposely able to be free of surveillance in order to commit a crime that the police could use to frame Steven for. Maybe it's far-fetched, but after following this sub since before Christmas as well as paying attention to most information posted online regarding the series who knows.
