So sometimes my PC freezes up (audio still is fine), my monitor goes black with a "no signal" and then returns to normal. This started happening after I decided to OC my CPU after getting a new GPU due to a bottleneck in some games. This freeze normally happens when I play DoTA 2 or stream something on my web browser (Firefox). I have never seen it happen in any other game I have played and whilst writing this post, it just happened again. I really do hope it isn't due to my new graphics card and it has to do with my OC. I tried reducing my clock ratio and that seemed to fix it but then it just comes back again after a while. This problem doesn't occur often and seems to go away after my PC is left on for a while since I just turned it on today for about 3 hours, it has happened 3 times and now has not occurred since. Any help? This started happening after I got a new GPU (Vega 64, previous card was a R9 280X) and I decided to OC my CPU too. I really do hope it isn't due to my new graphics card and it has to do with my OC. I have looked around and people have had similar issues with the Vega 64 and none of them have worked so far. For example, one mentioned it being a PSU problem and that you should use separate 8-Pin connectors to power the card but I am already doing that. Another mentioned it being a driver issue and a complete reinstall of windows may fix it too but that is a last resort. Any ideas?
