réalisatrice, scénariste Né(e) le mardi 13 janvier 1976 Pays: France Sa biographie Alice Winocour, née le 13 janvier 1976, est une réalisatrice de talent. Elle intègre l'école FEMIS puis se lance dans une carrière de réalisatrice. Court-métrage et long-métrage n'ont plus de secret pour elle. Alice Winocour suit tout d'abord des études de Droit. Elle décide finalement de changer d'orientation. Pour elle, ce sera la FEMIS, école nationale supérieure des métiers de l'image et du son. Elle intègre la filière production, en pensant que cela lui conviendra. Puis, elle revient sur son choix et se réoriente vers la section scénario de l'école. Orphée est le premier court-métrage qu'elle co-écrit et dans lequel elle joue. En 2005, elle remporte le Prix TV5 du meilleur court-métrage francophone pour Kitchen. Puis, c'est avec Magic Paris qu'elle est récompensée par le diplôme du jury au Festival International du documentaire, du court-métrage et du film d'animation de Saint-Pétersbourg. En 2012, elle se lance dans la réalisation de son premier long-métrage, Augustine, dans lequel elle dirige les acteurs Soko et Vincent Lindon.

Bednaya Nastya (Poor Anastasia/Poor Nastya) has a romantic setting in the earlier half of the Nineteenth Century in autocratic Imperial Russia during the times of Tsar Nicholas I. The year is circa 1840. Serfdom still exists in Russia (most of the population then consisted of serfs) of the characters are noblemen and noblewomen who are bound by codes of honor that often get them in trouble. Other characters are a few freemen, and a group of Gypsies. True to the cliff-hanger unique to this genre of television dramas, each twist leads to another puzzle. The most fascinating and enjoyable aspect of Bednaya Nastya is the turning and twisting of events that the story takes. Surprises abound, and the development is very fresh; consistently each of its parts evolves into something completely unexpected, and never boring. I fell in love with the music, the actors in their great interpretation of varied types of characters, and the story itself, which is very strong. There's beauty, suspense, humor, drama, romance, and a wonderful recreation and scenery of mid-Nineteenth Century Imperial Russia.
