About 2 weeks after we wrapped the pool, we had a storm with wind gusts up to 60mph; we lost many shingles off oir roof, but the wrap stayed intact!! We live on top of a hill with nothing to break the wind. We did start on the top rail with about 4 inches overlapping on the inside of the pool; we lowered the wrap down the side of the pool as went. We ended up with it about halfway down the side of the pool by the time we finished. We did pull it kinda tight, but not so tight it would rip. I bought 2 rolls, but 1 was sufficient for our size pool.
