It lets the story be what it is -- the story of a couple would-be rockstar lesbians and a newly-out lesbian who have one crazy night together. It's a charming tale. The trailer for this movie implies that there will be a lot of sexual content, but really, this is a super tame movie in that department.. I don't recall any actual nudity and the scenes closest to 'sex scenes' could probably air on prime time. I bring this up not because I'm a prude but because another lesbian movie cliché is The Obligatory Sex Scenes. A lot of lesbian movies seem as though they have something to prove, or some envelope to push by including explicit sex scenes -- which often distracts from the overall quality.
