The ending of Jane Doe has a lot of threads dedicated to possible theories as to what exactly happened. So far theories I've read here were: She was tortured into becoming a witch She had always been a witch It was all in the son's head She was a target of witches, who cursed her to feel endless pain. I have my own theory to add. Enter the father, pleading with her to spare his son and offering his body up freely. After contemplating the offer, the father's wrists break and her's heal. His ankles shatter, her's heal. She's taking from him what she needs to become whole again. In excruciating pain, the father begs the son to kill him and he does. My theory is the witch was going to let the son go. That moment of contemplation was her thinking over the deal the father purposed: his life to help her, his son lives. But what is she going to do with a dead, stabbed heart? They'd removed her's and it'd rapidly decomposed; she needed his heart. The father unwittingly breaks his deal and in retribution she uses him to ultimately kill the son.

"Jobs" was ambitious but it never really felt like a big budget biopic about Steve Jobs and, ultimately, felt like a made-for-TV story about the Apple guru. I wasn't sold on Kutcher's performance and only saw him as Ashton the entire movie and not Steve. Additionally, I felt they handled Jobs' growth as a person poorly as the movie jumped from point to point and any character development needed for the next scene was just conveniently there when the story arrived. However, I really enjoyed Josh Gad as Wozniak, the soundtrack was great and I admire that they didn't sugarcoat the reality that Jobs had a reputation of being kind of a big meanie-head. In the end, "Jobs" was a passable biopic about the man who created a company where people will wait in line for days to get a phone that is really no different from the previous one they waited in line for.

Recomendada para cinéfilos. Difícil de ver para el público en general. No es una película para todos y quizas por eso no guste a todo el mundo. Mucha gente ira buscando la típica película de Inma Cuesta pero no... es un regalo visual e interpretativo. La ambientación, la fotografía, la música, y sobre todo el sonido y el montaje son un regalo. Técnicamente me parece sublime. Belleza sublime en una oda a la poesía de los textos de Lorca. 'La novia' nos sumerge en un mundo casi onírico, de paisajes crudos y viejas disputas, con una Inma Cuesta espectacular que nos hace olvidar el poco acierto del film como adaptación de 'Bodas de Sangre' (poco arriesgada en comparación con el resto de la película). Y, aunque a veces se recree en exceso en su propia estética, embruja. La lucha interior de la novia (una Inma Cuesta de premio) para decidir entre el novio apuesto, agradecido y cumplidor, y un Leonardo lleno de un magnetismo rebelde, salvaje e imposible de resistir expresa con una intensidad opresora e irracional que de ninguna manera os dejará indiferentes.
